Dance Express, based in Fort Collins, Colorado, is a vibrant and community-oriented dance organization dedicated to promoting the art of dance in its various forms. With a strong emphasis on inclusivity and creativity, they offer a wide range of dance classes and performances, fostering a welcoming environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels to express themselves through the joy of movement. Dance Express has been improving lives through dance virtually and in-persons since 1989!

Mary Elizabeth Lenahan has her BA from the State University of New York at Albany, her MS in occupational therapy from Colorado State University, and four-years of eurythmy training from Sound Circle Eurythmy in Boulder, Colorado. She performed at the international graduation at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland in June, 2014. Mary Elizabeth Lenahan first began dance express in 1989 when her and Jane Slusarski-Harris auditioned dancers in downtown Fort Collins. Ms. Lenahan enjoys being the Artistic & Executive Director with the support of the Board of Directors as she believes Dance Express dancers with and without disabilities delight audiences, families, and community supporters with a unique combination of original choreography, inspired dance, enthusiasm, and joy.
